An independent Baptist church.
Nursery. Calvary Baptist Church offers loving nursery care at every service and most special events. Trained workers will care for your child and aid in keeping any distractions in our services to a minimum. If you are interested in helping in this ministry, please contact Carrie Rench. Ages 0-3.
Classes. We here at Calvary Baptist Church believe that each child is special and unique, and part of God’s heritage. Therefore our children’s teaching staff understands the responsibility you have entrusted them with in helping you prepare your children for the next generation. We are blessed and honored to have the privilege of imparting God’s truths into your children’s lives that they in turn will impact other lives for Christ.

Teens of Faith. Our youth ministry is a Bible based ministry. We provide a safe environment where young people can come and connect with one another. It is a place where they are given Biblical answers to life’s challenging problems and where they are encouraged to live for Christ in an anti-Christian society. We also have lots of fun with good clean activities. Our young people are also given the opportunity to be influenced by the most gifted preachers in America at youth rallies and youth conferences.
The youth meet on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.
Preaching Rally. Every February, our church hosts over 20 churches for a one-day youth conference called The Preaching Rally. Click here to visit PreachingRally.com.
Bible classes are available for all ages at Calvary Baptist Church. Our adult Bible classes are designed with a three-fold purpose and that is to provide a place for fellowship and interaction for Christian adults, give relevant answers to today’s challenging problems, and equip and perfect (mature) each adult for life and ministry that together we may effectively serve our Lord for the furtherance of His kingdom.
Merry Hearts. The adult ladies of the Merry Hearts class meet on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. for encouragement and fellowship with each other around God’s Word. Taught by Christine Welsh and Alicia Masters in the upper level of the building.
Lively Stones (20s and 30s). The purpose of the Lively Stones class is to help Christians navigate the transitions of life through the principles of, and instruction in, the Word of God with an emphasis on building up young families for the service of the Lord in His local church. Taught by Nathan Rench and Greg Wuchner in the Sunday School wing past the nursery.
Fellowship Class (40s and 50s). Pastor Rench teaches the Fellowship Class various Bible truths each week in the Fellowship Hall.
Ambassador Class (General Bible class). The Ambassador class meets in the sanctuary and is the general class for all adults. Taught by Si Rangel and John Blomberg.
Jail Ministry. A rotation of our church men meet weekly at the Riverside Correctional Facility in Winchester, CA. The men preach the gospel to the 10-20 inmates who show up, and souls are saved almost every week as men come face to face with God’s grace found in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Military Ministry. A rotation of our church men meet once or twice a month with a ministry to the new recruits in training at Camp Pendleton. Our men serve as preachers or prayer partners, seeing around a dozen men come to Christ each month.
Music Ministry. Our music ministry is especially designed to be honoring and glorifying to God and uplifting to the Christian. We believe that the music ministry plays an essential role in preparing the hearts of God’s people for the proclamation of the Word of God. Our music is to be different and not identifiable with that which is secular music. Why? Because it is unique in its message, for it is to be Christ centered; it is unique in its composition, for it is to be spiritual; and it is unique in its presentation and style for it is to appeal to the inner man and not to a fallen nature. Many of our Christian forefathers called the church music “sacred music” and thus it is, for it is set apart for the purpose of honoring Christ and edifying the believer. It is to fill our hearts with the wonder of our Saviour and the glories of heaven. Therefore from the congregational songs to the choir to the specials each piece is picked and prepared to make each service a memorable experience. Come and join us as we worship and celebrate our Saviour in song.
Missions. The Scripture teaches that missions endeavors are to be done through the local church. Our church supports several ministries worldwide through prayer and finances. Click here to visit our missions website.
Outreach. The word Gospel simply means “Good news.” As Christians, we believe that God sent His Son, Jesus, to be a perfect sacrifice for the world’s sin, and that anyone who trusts in Him can be saved. Our church strives to take this good news out to as many people as possible through our weekly outreach efforts including door-to-door evangelism, outreach events at our church, and personal relationships.
Ladies and Men’s Ministries. Various events throughout the year at specifically targeted to help either men or ladies grow in their relationship with the Lord. These events might include things like retreats, fellowship nights, or going out to eat together.
