04-19-2015 Pastor’s Note

April 19th, 2015

I’m happy to say we have secured our 2 summer interns from Heartland Baptist Bible College! Bro . Robert Martinez is a 2nd year Youth Major from Buckley Road Baptist in Liverpool, New York . The other intern Bro . Steven Wilkerson . He’s a 1st year Bible major from Phoenix, AZ . These men will be meeting daily with Bro . Ryan for a teaching/ training time, and then will be involved with us in all phases of practical ministry through the summer . They will again be involved in our youth and children’s ministries as well as doing some teaching and preaching . The church family will have the opportunity to have the interns over for supper along the course of the summer . Our church provides summer accommodations, meals, use of a vehicle and gas, and a stipend of $50 .00 per week while they are with us . In addition, we will pay the first installment on their next semester at Heartland Baptist Bible College . Let’s make it our prayer and our objective to be a help to them in their progression of preparation for the work of the ministry .

Also, we just hired a new church secretary, Miss Sarah Brown . She graduated from Heartland last Spring and has been serving in her home church in Stillwater, Oklahoma, for the past year .
She will be living in the staff house behind the church and will be working in the office Tuesdays-Fridays. She arrives on May 28, and she is thrilled to join our church and begin serving here . She’s a sweet young lady and will be a great addition to our church family . Please give her a good Calvary Baptist Church welcome on Sunday, May 31!
