An independent Baptist church.

The following quote was taken from the website of Bible Baptist Church in Stillwater, OK: stillchurch.com. It provides a little bit of an idea of what the culture is trying to tell us about men compared to what God wants for men.
The rumor that masculine men hate church isn’t entirely true. Come discover an environment where plenty of real men still believe God expects them to step up and provide strong, loving leadership in the church and in their families.
Look inside most churches today and one of the most notable vacancies is men. In particular, masculine men. We want you to know that’s not true everywhere… We still believe men are expected to provide strong leadership within the church and their homes. Generations of that kind of leadership is one secret to American’s greatness. Feminism would have you think that masculinity demeans the woman, yet biblical masculinity is humble and compassionate and values a lady more than life itself… Come see a revival of masculinity.

The outreach ministry is at the heart of our Saviour for He said, “for I have come to seek and to save that which was lost” thus it is the heartbeat of the local New Testament church as well. Matthew 28:19, 20 says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. This mandate was not given to a select few, it was given to every member of a local New Testament church. Therefore we at Calvary Baptist Church believe it is our responsibility to take the gospel to the lost. That is why our door to door evangelism outreach ministry is among our most important ministries. You will not find many churches today that are willing to take their faith right to their neighbor’s front door. However, we believe as Paul did when he said, “I am a debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise”. That is, we as Paul owe every sinner an opportunity to hear the gospel because of what Jesus did for us.
Our door to door evangelism ministry meets every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and every Thursday at 3:00 p.m. where we go out two by two and house to house.
The ladies of Calvary Baptist Church are an integral part of the ministry. Each lady, whether girl or grandmother, is encouraged to live out her biblical roles in her thinking and in her daily activities. Opportunities for ladies to grow in the Lord and grow together as friends abound, and monthly activities, annual retreats, and regular meetings are just a few examples of how this growth is accomplished. Come be a part of Calvary Baptist Church this week!
While the trend across America seems to lean men away from strength and leadership, Calvary Baptist Church still urges men to take seriously their biblical roles and own up to their responsibilities. Weekly, passionate preaching from God’s Word is what helps our men grow into their roles, and examples of godly, masculine men can be found all throughout the church. Annual men’s meetings, regular prayer breakfasts, and numerous opportunities to serve abound as men are encouraged to use the talents that God has given them for his work. Come see how God can take you much further as a man than you ever thought was possible!

Our music ministry is especially designed to be honoring and glorifying to God and uplifting to the Christian. We believe that the music ministry plays an essential role in preparing the hearts of God’s people for the proclamation of the Word of God. Our music is to be different and not identifiable with that which is secular music. Why? Because it is unique in its message, for it is to be Christ centered; it is unique in its composition, for it is to be spiritual; and it is unique in its presentation and style for it is to appeal to the inner man and not to a fallen nature. Many of our Christian forefathers called the church music “sacred music” and thus it is, for it is set apart for the purpose of honoring Christ and edifying the believer. It is to fill our hearts with the wonder of our Saviour and the glories of heaven. Therefore from the congregational songs to the choir to the specials each piece is picked and prepared to make each service a memorable experience. Come and join us as we worship and celebrate our Saviour in song.
The following is the schedule for our special music. To see some recent posts, please scroll past the calendar.
Our buses pick up children and families from all over Temecula and Murrieta. Trained, caring drivers and workers will be glad to offer you a ride if it is needed. For further details or if you have any questions, please call us at (951) 676-8700, or click here to contact us.

Each Wednesday at 7 PM our members host dozens of children ages 3 through sixth grade. Bible lessons, Bible memory, review games, and outdoor games are part of their weekly routine, and hundreds of children through the years have grown to love their Bibles more and more through the careful training that is provided through Master Clubs. Come enroll your child this Wednesday! If you have any questions, please call us at (951) 676-8700 or click here to contact us.
