Life Is What You Make It

God holds you accountable for your own decisions. Not your friends’; not your parents’; not your enemies’.  You are as close to God right now as you want to be. You might think, “No… I’d like to be closer to God, it’s just that…” You’re fooling yourself. Your life is […]

Great Everything…

November 25th, 2016

First, great work yesterday. If you were here for the workday, thank you for your help! It was a blessing seeing you helping set up for our Christmas outreach. Some of you did lights, others did the manger scene, the banner, and a ton of other stuff. The church looks great (wait till you see it tonight!) Also, great work on setting up the gym for tonight’s Praise and Pie Night. If you helped out last Wednesday, thank you for serving that way. The chairs and tables go SO quick when you’re there to serve. Great job.

Another great thing was last week… I hear it was a great class! If you missed last week, you missed out on a GOOD testimony from Bro. Julio, a man who was saved in jail through some of our men leading him to Christ. Bro. Julio got released a couple months ago, and Bro. Ruben has been helping him out with a job and other helps. Bro. Julio has been growing in Christ, and is excited about telling others about Him! I love that he was trying to use his life to invest in you—trying to get you to avoid some of the mistakes that he made. Praise God for Bro. Julio and God’s grace in his life.

Also, last Wednesday sounded amazing, too. While I was on vacation, Bro. Ruben filled in for me, and I heard it was a huge blessing. I heard the game was a hit, too (the balloon/Veggie Tales game).

In that, great job with all your help. I appreciate Ben stepping in last minute and getting the songs going, and Isabelle playing the tricky songs! And good work on all the games. We’ve done some good ones, and we’ve got a crazy one coming up on Wednesday, too (Wednesday’s games will involved lots and lots of… bubbles).

I’m always glad to be back home for this class. I love you all and missed you last week. Remember, love God, love others, and do right.

-Bro. Ryan
