TOF – Christmas Party

December 26th, 2013

Note from Wednesday, December 4, 2013

This year’s Christmas Party will be at the Myers’ house. I didn’t want you destroying my house again.

We will play a few games and do our annual $5 gift exchange, but a really cool addition to this year’s party is… are you ready?… It’s going to be awesome… you won’t believe it… is the suspense killing you yet?…

The big surprise is this… we get to see Evan’s parrot again!

Just kidding (although the parrot is cool). The surprise is taking a walk from their house to the amazing Bainbridge Circle. Right up the street from them in an entire street where every house is covered in lights and synced to Christmas music that pulses to the rhythm. If you have never been through there before, you are in for a treat. Bainbridge will be awesome.

So, for the party, bring a few things:

1)    A $5 gender-neutral gift to exchange. (We will give you a number, let you pick a new present OR steal someone else’s present.)

2)    A snack

3)    A coat (we’ll be walking around outside.)

It’s next Friday, so be there, or be square. Everyone. Or else Santa will only give you coal. Or poison ivy.

-Bro. Ryan

PRAY FOR THE BAKERS – They are traveling this week.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PRACTICE SUNDAY – After the evening service. Verses and songs memorized.

YOUTH WINTER RENDEZVOUS – January 2-3 in Wrightwood, CA. Leaving at 8am Thursday and returning Friday evening. The YWR is a 2-day camp in the mountains where we will enjoy snow play, indoor games, and, most importantly, 4 preaching sessions. Please pray no one gets a bloody nose. Cost is $110 and includes all gas, meals and lodging.

CHRISTMAS PARTY – Next Friday, 6:00 – 8:30pm. Bring a snack to share, a $5 gift to exchange, and a coat (we’re walking around outside.)
