What Are We Supposed To Do With Ourselves Now?

Now that Comedy Night is done, what are we supposed to do with ourselves? We’ve been so intensely practicing that we forgot about… gaming! Oh yeah. Mafia. That’s what we can do. Thanks, Alexa. And for the lesson time, we finished up the 3 M’s and 3 A’s for men […]

TOF – New Wednesday Series

December 26th, 2013

Note from Wednesday, September 4, 2013

Tonight’s the night.

It’s time for… TV?

Yep. Tonight starts the video series by Ken Ham on the authority of God’s Word.

Pastor showed the adults this series and it was foundational for many of them. It gives solid reasons why we base our whole lives on the authority of God’s Word.

Bro. Ken Ham is not a fundamental Baptist preacher. He does not use the King James Bible. There are some issues I have with the intro music (has a heavy rock rhythm.) Pastor noted the same issues with the adults when he showed them the series, and he even addressed them to Bro. Ham.

All in all, though, this video series is excellent. We will definitely learn a lot from them, especially the first 6 weeks. Do not miss these first 6 weeks! I guarantee you’ll be helped.

-Bro. Ryan

HEARTLAND TRIP – deadline for payment is tonight. We are purchasing the plane tickets tomorrow.

LIBERTY YOUTH RALLY SIGNUP – see the table for more info.

SATURATION AND MENS PRAYER – this Saturday.

TONIGHT – SETUP FOR CHILI COOKOFF – Please help us set up tables and chairs tonight night after church.

*note: Thank you to those of you who were cleaning up last Wednesday after the fellowship time. It says a lot about you when you look for ways to serve and to be involved. Always plan on serving in this way whenever we have anything going on in the gym. Moving tables and chairs is easy, and it is a simple way to serve our church. Just think about it… someone’s got to do it! Serve, serve and… oh yeah, be servants. Look for ways to serve.
