Periodic Reminders

Half the Old Testament is the word Remember. No, that’s not true. It’s 48%. I just rounded up. As Israel forgot, so do we. Today’s insert is a simple reminder of some of the standards we work to maintain as we sing for the Lord. My prayer is that you […]

A Few Things

March 27th, 2016

BIBS. On Wednesday night, we will begin a month of combined services on Wednesday nights. We will still track your BIBS sheets, so please continue to fill them out (most of you did last Wednesday. Good job!) Keep up on it day by day. I’ve been encouraged to see many of you being VERY faithful. I love that.

Work Day Yesterday. Thank you to those who helped out yesterday!! The church grounds look amazing, and yesterday was an example of one more of those times when dirty fingernails = serving God.

Saturation Saturday. This Saturday, come to church at 9:45 and let’s spread the word about our Easter services. We are doing a breakfast on Easter, and then a combined service at 10:30. On Saturday, we will hand out invitations (did you notice the points increase on the BIBS sheet, too?)

Revival last week. If you missed any of the revival services last week, I’d encourage you to visit cbctemecula.org/sermons to catch up. They were ALL amazing services with Evangelist Paul Schwanke, and I was glad to see most of you out almost every night (some of you even did special music. Good job!) As part of the services, Bro. Schwanke mentioned a series of messages he preached and a book on the story of Joseph. The series was directed toward those who are serious about God’s will for their lives. Bro. Branch was so excited for those books that he bought up all the rest at the end of the week (to give to you). If you will read the book, let me know and you can have one as a gift. We only have a few right now, but more are on the way.

YOUTH ACTIVITY [Date Change]. A teen from the Lighthouse Moreno Valley has put together an activity we will be going to this Friday, from 1pm – 6:30pm. We will do some activities at a park in Riverside, so come dressed to play (loose-fitting knee-length shorts or pants are okay). Bro. Miles invited a couple other churches, too. We are not sure exactly how many people will be there. You’ll see!
