Aw Nuts!

March 5th, 2017

I absolutely meant to remind you about some upcoming Christmas concerts from area choirs. Well… I blew it. Almost all of them were last week.

  • See TemeculaValleyMasterChorale.org for upcoming concerts and audition information.
  • The MSJC College Singers, under the direction of Eric Rea, present regular concerts at the Menifee Valley Campus Lab Theater.
  • The Temecula Valley Symphony & Chorus will perform Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2pm and 7pm at the Temecula Valley High School Theater, featuring seven of our own church members!

I try to stay connected to the Arts, if for no other reason than to keep the goal of excellence in our own ministry. I know that we are not performers in our choir, but I never want to grow complacent with our music ministry. It is worth far more to serve God through our music than to pack out a concert hall for an afternoon of entertainment. While I enjoy these and other choir concerts, I love the weekly worship of our Creator, even more. I occasionally put these concerts in front of you, though, to spark your interest and spur you to explore areas in which the world can be an example to us (Luke 16:8b).

BOLD means turn in your music.
