What that means is that we each ought to try to start every day with some time reading the word and praying. For most of us, a structured plan helps us have consistency in any habit we want to form.
A good devotional for those of us that use a smart-phone or have a home computer is found the one Lancaster Baptist Church has been operating of several years now. It’s called Daily in the Word, and the web address is www.dailyintheword.org. Each day it has a helpful short article as well as a portion of Scripture to read which will take you through your Bible in one year.
If you go to the site and sign in, you’ll get the daily devotional on your phone or computer each day. You’ll find it is something you can go through in 15-20 minutes. Your day will begin better if you’ll begin it with a time to meet with the Lord.
