Christmas CDs

Wow. October already.

Now’s about the time you should be getting more and more familiar with your Christmas CDs. I didn’t envision us needing so many split practices, but we will probably continue them through this whole next month as well.

A lot of that will be helped the more familiar you are with the music. Please give some attention this month to listening to those CDs. A lot of what goes on in split practices is just hammering out the timing and getting the feel for the song. As of this month, hopefully we are getting very familiar with the feel of the songs so that we can fine-tune only the parts in split practices and then fine-tune the tone in combined practices.

Thank you for your diligence thus far. It’s starting to shape up little by little! What a powerful cantata this will be! Amen!

SUPPLIES PROVIDED – Please use any of the supplies you’d like. We have provided pencils (to keep), paper clips, highlighters (to use), post-it notes and more. If you would like something that is not available, please let me know.

MARK YOUR MUSIC – Remember to mark your music. Every time something is mentioned, even if it’s not directed at you, please mark your music no matter what. If you don’t think it’s for your benefit… then mark it for the next person that has your music! J
