Continue With Revival Commitments

April 16th, 2013

-bulletin note from Sunday, April 14, 2013

So many of us found some real help and benefit from the preaching of the Word in our Revival meetings last week with Brother Billy Ingram!  The sermons of Tuesday and Wednesday were especially powerful, and the response from those in attendance was exceptional.  We have the messages posted on our website, so I hope if you missed any, you’ll listen to them and pass them along.  The Bible truths given to us on how we can see our commitments last, and thereby see revival continue on were of a great help to so many.  Let’s continue to practice abiding in Christ by the same faith through which we were saved, and let’s walk each day trusting God as we remember He is completely in control.  Isa. 31:1  Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!   Psm 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
