Pray For Each Other

March 10th, 2016

I pray regularly through the choir list, including absentees or needs that I know of. If you have needs that I know of, I pray for you. I know that others in here pray, too.

Bearing one another’s burdens start with those that are closest to you. Choir members are those fellows that you see weekly, and we are perhaps closer to each other than other groups within the church might be. To me, choir is an ideal group to treat as kind of a little prayer group.

People within choir have needs. When you come early and chat with one another, you pick up on needs, pains, hurts, burdens, cares and all kinds of life-stuff that happens-big or small -in everyday life.

Pray for each other. Bear each others’ burdens. That is kind of the implication-if not the exact meaning-of Galatians 6:2.

We have health needs right here in choir. We have family needs. We have house needs, job needs and car needs.

Pray for one another. Prayer is putting US in our place, recognizing GOD in His place, and ASKING Him to work on our behalf.

God is good. Let’s talk with Him regularly. On each others’ behalf. I love you all, and I’m praying for you.
