Periodic Reminders

Half the Old Testament is the word Remember. No, that’s not true. It’s 48%. I just rounded up. As Israel forgot, so do we. Today’s insert is a simple reminder of some of the standards we work to maintain as we sing for the Lord. My prayer is that you […]

Special Music Workshop

November 6th, 2012

Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012

By now you should have received the details for the Special Music Workshop and your special music calendar. Those of you who are involved in both choir and special music have a little bit busier schedule to keep up with, but as you see from a year at a glance, it is really not that much to prepare for. 🙂

The choir workshop is going to be a wonderful blessing, and it really is your loss to not be there. I’m very sorry to those of you who have already told me that you will have to miss. I am telling you, no one will want to miss this, for sure.

Be forewarned, it will be a lot of work! Singing right takes a lot of energy, and concentrating on a few select pieces for several hours straight takes some work. Please bring a water bottle and stay hydrated (room-temperature water is better for your throat and vocal chords).

We are less than two weeks away on that workshop. I am anticipating a totally different and angelic choir after this workshop… don’t let me down now! (Just kidding! 🙂 )

Please place any love offering you would like to donate to the Rea family in the basket on the front table. It is the least we can do for what they will be doing for us. Thank you,

-Bro. Ryan

WORKSHOP – Please be at church Saturday, November 17 at 12:30. We will rehearse Christmas music until 4pm, including a break. Please be involved in the love offering if you are able.

DECEMBER 4 – We will have choir practice at 4:30 while I am gone Sunday, Dec. 4. Bro. Greg Wuchner will direct the choir.

Choir will not sing a special that morning for services, but you will still go up for choir to sing congregationals.
