Split Practices… Whew!

When we first sing through new songs, it’s like getting thrown into the deep end of a pool with five panicked toddlers on your back. With your hands tied. Between your legs.

The first split practice feels about the same, but you at least manage to kick your legs hard enough to get one teeny, tiny gasp of air before you sink under again.

Take heart. The lifeguard is on duty. He knows it will all work out.

The bummer is… it’s a Navy Seal lifeguard. He’ll also let you drown a little. It’s good for you.
