Choir Workshop. I hope you are as excited as I am about the workshop on Saturday, Jan. 21. Bro. Eric Rea will cover plenty of techniques to make us fabulous. Please plan on:

  1. Attending Saturation Saturday – 9:45 am in Fellowship Hall
  2. Attending the choir workshop – 12:30 pm in youth room.
  3. Giving a love offering to Bro. Rea

Turning in music. The updated music system makes each person more responsible for turning in his or her music. Here’s the safeguard… we will not file the music until the entire numbered set is complete. So, after this year, if all works as planned, all the duplicate numbers will be eliminated. No more borrowing and switching numbers. Every number change needs to be approved (by me). I hope, I hope, I hope, I hope this works! Yep… tenors will find some way to sabotage it, but we will prevail.

Sunday Night Singing. Here’s a sneak preview of tonight’s presentation… Don’t tell Pastor on me… Starting next week, the choir will sing weekly on Sunday nights. We will sing the same song as we sang in the morning. This will liven up the congregational music (you add a LOT of volume from the choir!) and allow the children’s workers to hear the songs, too.
