Time Off, Then Back To Work!

March 5th, 2017

This time of year is crazy, so we’re scaling our commitments back a bit over the next couple weeks. Then, after the break, once the new year rolls around, it’s right back to work!

Christmas Day. Please meet in the youth room at 10:30am on Christmas morning (next week). We’ll run through “The First Noel” as needed.

The schedule of service includes the kids program, so we will have reserved seating off to the side, and the choir will usher into place during one of the congregational songs AFTER the kids program.

New Year’s Day. In 2 weeks, we will have a shortened afternoon practice starting at 5pm. Morning practice will still be at 9:30, as usual.

After that, it’s the home stretch for our GIBF music. I just confirmed some exciting news… we’ll have another choir workshop with conductor Eric Rea on Saturday, Jan. 21 after Saturation Saturday outreach! The workshop is for any church members, but especially choir members to help us prepare for the GIBF songs. It will be from 12:30 – 3pm with a break in between. We will collect an offering for Bro. Rea as a thank-you gift for his time.

Thank you for your great work. I love this choir!

-Bro. Ryan
