December 6th, 2012

Welcome to December!

Hasn’t this semester been flying by?!

It seems like you just started school… now you’re almost to Christmas break! Stinkin’ college kids… they pretty much get out of school this week and they don’t go back until about the third week of January! That’s more motivation to go to Bible college… long breaks!

I miss you all and want to be with you. I’ll be seeing these other youth groups in these other churches I’ll be visiting and I can’t help but compare them to you… no comparison! You’re awesome!

On a different note: if you watched the DVD that Bro. McCracken was selling when he was here a couple weeks ago, you saw that preachers are human and need encouragement too. One major way that you can encourage Bro. Ken today is to just pipe up with an “AMEN!” here and there. Just pretend you got the point. Trick him. It works the same for the preacher whether you understood the point or not. Just say amen at random times and you’ll be encouraging. Bro. Ken says, “Open your Bibles to ____” and you go “AMEN!” Got it?

Keep your eyes up. Don’t talk. Say amen. Stay awake. Do those 4 things and it will be the most encouraging service ever! We love and miss you. Have a great week.
