Merry Christmas!

Enjoying your break from school?

Don’t take a break from the Lord! BIBS is a daily devotion, including on Christmas Day—and all the other days of your vacation. After all, we’re always saying “Jesus is the reason for the season.” Is that just a catch phrase we throw around? Or is that real to us? Is it real to you? Hopefully. Jesus should be bigger to you than anything else this season, and I pray you give Him His due honor and respect by listening to Him through His Word.

Daily devotions is a discipline that I hope all of you get in the habit of doing. It is not something that will magically transform you into super-Christian, but it will help you and gradually grow you over time. Get in God’s Word, and live God’s Word. Nothing else matters. Your side jobs, your school, your family, your fun—all these take second place to the Lord. They should, anyway!

I sure love all of you and I hope you know that everything we do and say as the youth staff is meant to be a help to you. Being in your Bible is not for Bro. Ryan’s benefit but for yours, even if you do not see it that way yet. Love God more than anything else in life and watch Him transform your future.
