Horray We’re Home!
I missed you kids!
After a restful week of self-indulgence on our cruise last week… I’m ready to get back to work! Thank you for providing me a job that I couldn’t WAIT to get back to. I’m serious! The gourmet food, free smoothies, unlimited soda, pools, basketball games, and daily naps just get old (but it’s totally refreshing). I’m ready to plan camp, write sermons, word articles, file choir music and get back to my life!
One thing made me think this week… I wasn’t in a Christian environment every day, and I could totally empathize with those of you that go through that every day. I hate that I felt a little self-conscious about praying in public, but halfway through the week I got mad (at myself) that I was self-conscious and really had to change my attitude about that. My wife and I sang out and scared all the old people in our church service. We prayed at every meal and talked to people about our ministry. I hope in every situation every day you make it a point to be Christian. Period. That’s the most important thing in your life, so make it so.
We love you and want God’s best for you. Do right. Love God. Love others.
