Monumental Moments In Life

I got home yesterday from preaching a 3-night rally in Colorado. I like the emphasis on kicking off the school year right—with Bible preaching! Today, I’ll be re-preaching all three sermons (not all in Sunday school!) as we think about starting the year strong. Each day is a new beginning […]

New Series

Both Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights are getting a refresh.

We’ve just finished our Romans series on Sunday mornings and we’re pretty much done with the Creation Science videos on Wednesday nights.

I hope you took Sunday’s final message from Romans to heart. The thing that will stablish you in life is Bible preaching. The Bible has a way of making all life’s issues clear, and Bible preaching is a weekly reminder that God should be in control.

We’re going to be going through the book of Daniel on Sunday mornings. It’s a pretty crazy book! Most people think of Daniel and the lions den; shadrach, meshach and Abednego; or the handwriting on the wall when they think of Daniel’s life. Sure, there are cool stories in Daniel, but there are also tons of crazy prophecies.

I’m not big on prophecy. Some people LOVE it, but I’m not one of them. They love the end times, the crazy wars, the plagues and weird things that will happen. While that’s all cool stuff to know, it doesn’t seem very practical.

I’ll do my best to preach the book of Daniel over the next several months. I’ll try to make it practical and useful to the way you live your life tomorrow and the next day.

The new Wednesday night series? Well, you’ll just have to come and see. We’ll take several more weeks to wrap up the Bible Study series like I promised, but then we’ll get into a very cool idea that I think will last for a long time.
