Workshop Offering

November 13th, 2012

Sunday, November 11, 2012

This Saturday is our Special Music Workshop, and we want to be sure that the Rea family is not giving up a full Saturday for nothing.

Giving is certainly a biblical concept, and compensation is also a biblical concept. This offering is kind of combining both ideas. While the Reas expect (or charge) nothing financially, they are definitely spending time working. We hope to be able to at least compensate their time and hopefully be an extra blessing to them as well… Meaning, if you can throw more than just a couple quarters in there, hopefully we’ll be able to not only reimburse their gas expense but also send them home blessed, thankful, and able to serve others. That cycle (blessing, thanking, giving) is found in 1 Cor. 9 AND 2 Cor. 9 and 10, as well as many other places in Scripture.

As a choir we should be grateful for his service and ready to give in return. I guarantee you will learn a LOT on Saturday, and who can put a price on any added tools with which we can serve and worship our Lord better?

Bro. Ryan
