You Might Have Noticed…

November 25th, 2016

You might have noticed that the parts on these new songs don’t just flow off your tongue. And they don’t really follow a set pattern. For that matter, you’re not even singing the same words as the person next to you (and sometimes, that’s how the music is written, too!)

Well, that’s kind of how this style of music goes. When you stray off into the adventurous worlds of choir music, you lose sight of the tried-and-true “1-4-5” chords. Even the basses sing more than three notes per song.

Well, that’s the beauty of these songs. I’m thrilled that we are already making such progress.

However, it still requires work on your part. Please visit cbctemecula.org/choir2017 to download and listen to your parts. I loaded the recordings of the choirs singing through these songs, too. Use this music when you have discretionary time—exercising, driving, housecleaning, etc.

We’ll have CDs asap. Thank you!
